The service delivers a broad range of secondary care. You will be based in our Clinic in New Zealand's leading ambulatory facility, Manukau Health Park (MHP). From time to time, there may be sessions required to be undertaken at other Metro Auckland district facilities (e.g., Northshore and Auckland City Hospitals) as we work towards a more regional approach. We are also in the process of expanding our outpatient services to 6 days per week (Saturdays), but weekend work is entirely voluntary and fee-for-service.This role is required for meeting the needs of Counties Manukau patients, particularly those with head and neck and thyroid conditions. There is also a need to provide continuity of care and support to the existing ORL Head and Neck sub-specialty as this service is in the process of developing a surgical programme for more complex surgery, including combined surgery sessions with Plastic Surgery.
