We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and drive the strategic marketing and communication efforts of Cogito Group. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimising integrated marketing and communications strategies that enhance our brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth. You will be a key player in shaping the voice of our brand, managing internal and external communications, and ensuring the alignment of all marketing initiatives with our core values and business objectives. This is a strategic position. You will not be managing a team, the team is YOU, outsourcing some tasks and driving digital engagement and growth. Key responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with Cogito Group's growth objectives, including digital marketing, brand positioning, public relations, and content marketing.Brand Management: Build and strengthen Cogito Group's brand reputation in the cybersecurity industry by ensuring consistent messaging across all channels, including web, social media, events, and publications.Content Development: Lead the creation of compelling content, including case studies, white papers, blogs, press releases, newsletters, and other thought leadership materials to position Cogito Group as an industry leader.Digital Marketing: Manage and optimise digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, online advertising, and social media marketing to increase engagement, lead generation, and customer acquisition.Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and partners to amplify Cogito Group's voice and ensure proactive media coverage.Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of marketing events, webinars, and industry conferences to promote Cogito Group's solutions and engage key audiences.Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs, and use this data to guide marketing strategies and campaigns.Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and business goals.Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and delivering measurable ROI from all campaigns and activities.Internal Communications: Manage internal communication efforts to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's vision and objectives.Key requirements: Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably within the technology, cybersecurity, or identity management sectors.Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire while working cross-functionally with other departments and senior leadership. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business objectives into actionable marketing initiatives.Communications Expertise: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing content for multiple audiences and platforms.Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and performance analytics.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the cybersecurity landscape, PKI, identity management, and cloud technologies is a strong advantage but not essential.
