The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and vendor payment processes, and month-end financial reporting across the Tend Health Group.
Working within a growing Finance Team in a growth business you should be comfortable working in an environment where change is constant and be confident to help find the way forward, optimising processes to ensure they meet the changing needs of the business.
Core responsibilities of this role include: Full cycle management accounting and month-end closeGeneral ledger and financial systems maintenanceBalance sheet reconciliationsCore IRD returnsAssistance with Statutory reportingOther responsibilities will include: Drive consistent, robust month-end process across the GroupManage all aspects of the monthly accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate completionPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, allocations, and reclassificationsAnalyse and review monthly financial results, investigating variances and providing explanationsSupport the preparation of monthly management reporting packsManagement of all aspects of Accounts Receivable, ensuring that government funding and customer payments are accurately recorded.
You will become the finance subject matter expert for the Patient Management SystemOversight of the Accounts Payable function to ensure transactional processes operate within the internal control frameworkEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, helping the business achieve future audit readinessManagement of recording, reconciliation and reporting of Fixed AssetsOversight of GST returnsPrepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for management decision-makingProvide support across the business on accounting and financial mattersSupport the forecasting process as requiredApply a growth mindset to the role of Finance in the business, identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvementWe are reviewing applications as they come through - apply today so you don't miss out on this great opportunity!
