Come share our compassion, creativity and willingness to be bold.The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and vendor payment processes, and month-end financial reporting across the Tend Health Group. Working within a growing Finance Team in a growth business you should be comfortable working in an environment where change is constant and be confident to help find the way forward, optimising processes to ensure they meet the changing needs of the business.Core responsibilities of this role include: Full cycle management accounting and month-end close General ledger and financial systems maintenance Balance sheet reconciliations Core IRD returns Assistance with Statutory reporting. Other responsibilities will include: Drive consistent, robust month-end process across the Group Manage all aspects of the monthly accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, allocations, and reclassifications Analyse and review monthly financial results, investigating variances and providing explanations Support the preparation of monthly management reporting packs. Management of all aspects of Accounts Receivable, ensuring that government funding and customer payments are accurately recorded. You will become the finance subject matter expert for the Patient Management System Oversight of the Accounts Payable function to ensure transactional processes operate within the internal control framework Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, helping the business achieve future audit readiness Management of recording, reconciliation and reporting of Fixed Assets Oversight of GST returns Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for management decision-making Provide support across the business on accounting and financial matters Support the forecasting process as required Apply a growth mindset to the role of Finance in the business, identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
