The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of contemporary best practices with strong leadership and project management expertise to enhance akonga (learner) success across the organisation.As the Senior Learning Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of learning by designing inclusive, engaging, and effective courseware. You will lead the design and development of teaching and assessment materials while driving the continuous improvement and in meeting quality assurance processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire excellence within a dynamic, fast-paced team.This is a fixed term 24-month contract.As the Senior Learning Designer, you will have the option to work from our Wellington or Christchurch office, hybrid, or remote.Key Responsibilities:Project Management & Coordination: Plan and manage the workload and priorities of the learning design team, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Teaching, Learning & Assessment Design: Oversee the development of high-quality, learner-centered courseware.
