Type: This is a Full-Time 12-months Term position.

The opportunity:
Reporting to the Design & Creative Lead, the Associate, Digital Media & Design will collaborate and partner with the cross-functional marketing team to conceptualize, design, and execute various assets to support corporate marketing and advisor objectives.
The Associate, Digital Media & Design will provide a strong portfolio showcasing professional work examples – inclusive of static print and digital - that demonstrate concept development, creativity, and best practice.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Marketing team in developing compelling graphics for use in various marketing mediums such as websites, social media, presentations decks, data visualization, white papers, booklets, brochures, collaterals, events, advertisements, etc.
The position requires 20% website design using Figma and 80% graphic design for various other marketing materials.
Working with the Marketing team to develop custom digital and print marketing collateral for both investment advisors and corporate marketing initiatives.
Managing deliverables in scalable, creative ways that meet the objective of the ask in partnership and collaboration with the broader marketing team.
Managing day-to-day projects (timelines, workbacks, status updates, approvals, etc.).
Acting as ambassador and custodian of the Wellington-Altus brand.
Keeping abreast of current and emerging digital marketing technologies, design trends, and competitor operations.
Being creative and innovative in what you do.
Performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A bachelor's degree or diploma in graphic design, visual communications, or similar field of study.
A minimum of 5+ years' of relevant experience in a similar role.
Experience in the financial services industry considered an asset.
Experience with print and web-based production standard.
Experience with Motion Graphic (After Effects/Premiere) considered an asset.
Proficient with Adobe CC products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Professional, etc.), Figma and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
Knowledge of designing and editing Canva graphics.
Good knowledge of branding, layout, typography, and has keen eye for details in sourcing images and other graphic assets that support a brand narrative.
An ability to multi-task, work on various projects, and meet strict deadlines.
Proven time management abilities as well as strong analytical and technical knowledge.
A high degree of creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
An ability to quickly adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.

Advanced knowledge in current graphic design best practices, fluency with print and web-based production standards particularly for digital and social channels.
A keen eye for detail in sourcing images, footage, music, and other assets.
