Founded in Christchurch by Sir Angus Tait, we now have a network of customers and offices that spans the globe.We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Service Management (ITSM) Consultant to develop, implement and manage IT service processes that ensure the smooth functioning of the Public Safety Network.
This is a significant project, building a modern, secure national digital Land Mobile Radio network for emergency services across New Zealand.Reporting to the Executive General Manager for PSN and based in Christchurch, this role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of IT service management principles and a passion for driving continuous improvement in IT services.This role will involve:Working with the Operations Service Delivery Manager to develop and implement IT service management processes based on frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, or ISO/IEC 20000.Customising ITSM solutions to meet the specific needs of the organization.Leading a small in-house team to develop a pan business data structure for Operational tools and systems to support scalability.Integrating the ITSM Helix platform with other operational tools and systems.Implementing a full end to end Asset Management system and process using ITSM tools for real-time reporting on network and field assets.Conducting workshops and training sessions to ensure effective adoption of ITSM practices.We are looking for someone with significant (10+ years) experience in ITSM tools and software implementation, configuration and management across various platforms (e.g.
Service Now, SMC Remedy, Helix, Manage Engine).In addition, you will have:Experience in consulting industry, with the ability to pull together requirements and produce documents and solution presentations for sharing with the business.Expertise in ITSM integration with other Operational tools and systems, including SNMP Pollers; CRM's, Data Base structures, Dispatch.Expertise in automated workflows.Expertise in optimizing alarm to field service process flows.Proven track record of managing ITSM projects and leading cross-functional teams.Nga painga - what's in it for you?Our employees value being part of a creative team committed to providing technological solutions that make a real difference to the communities we support.
