Ko te tima | About the team You will join the Ohanga (Economic Development & Investment) team, specifically supporting the Investment Portfolio with a substantial portfolio of assets and resources under stewardship. Our team is dedicated to driving sustainable economic growth for Ngati Toa, pursuing commercial opportunities that align with our strategic objectives. We work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure our investments contribute to the prosperity and wellbeing of our Iwi. Ko te turanga mahi | About the role The Senior Investment Analyst is responsible for: Reviewing the performance of assets against the Statement of Investment Policy Objectives (SIPO) Generating and exploring investment opportunities that align with our investment objectives Completing thorough due diligence and assessment activities Managing end-to-end acquisition and divestment processes Drafting business and investment cases Supporting the Capital Committee and driving resource optimisation opportunities Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders Ko nga wheako ou | About you Your high-level experience and professional expertise in investment analysis and portfolio management is a given, and you will be excited to engage and learn alongside a team of competent professionals. You'll be well practiced with: Financial analysis and reporting Risk assessment and problem-solving Asset performance forecasting and reporting Opportunity identification and analysis Applied commercial acumen Stakeholder relationship management Project management and execution Business case development Proactive, motivated and self-directed Working in a Maori business environment (preferred) But the thing that will really stand out is your love for the work, and the people.
