Mo te turanga - About the role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Analyst to join our Integration Platform team here at ANZ Technology and play a crucial role in optimizing and managing our integration processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integration methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications. This role will be part of a cross-functional team working collaboratively within high performing Agile teams, and an opportunity to work closely with the Integration Product Owner on the definition of technical requirements across all in scope integration platforms (Enterprise project & Internal Platform initiative). The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving change and improvements in platform initiatives, test automation and continuous improvement. Role Location: Auckland or Wellington Ka aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look like As a Senior Integration Analyst you will play a critical role in the following: Integration Analysis & Design: Analyse integration requirements and design comprehensive solutions to ensure seamless integration and process flows across systems. Develop detailed integration specifications and documentation, including data mapping and transformation rules. Build templates required by the team for common and repeatable integration work e.g. certificate renewals. Define solutions for automation of above routine BAU platform tasks. Work closely with development teams to ensure integration solutions are designed and implemented according to best practices and technical requirements. Evaluate and select appropriate integration technologies and tools to meet project needs. Investigation of vulnerabilities prior to sending to the engineers for resolution. Release Management & Documentation: Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to define project scope and objectives. Release Management of releases of the API Gateways (All Makinui Gateways & API mesh) & Eventing Capability (AMQ Streams & MSK / Confluent Cloud). Provide training and support to team members and end-users on integration tools and best practices. Develop and execute test plans to validate integration solutions, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality. Identify and resolve integration issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose enhancements to existing integration practices. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement new solutions. Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in integration engineering or platform engineering, with a strong focus on integration platforms. DevOps knowledge Experience in environments that are fully automated through CD. Configuring continuous integration, deployment, and delivery tools like Jenkins. Instrumenting monitoring and logging of applications. Experience with integration platforms (e.g., Kong, DataPower, MSK, Confluent Cloud) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Container-based platform experience (Docker, OpenShift 4.x or Kubernetes). API development and integration (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, message queues). Practical experience working in an agile environment (ideally Scrum). Experience with Testing approaches - TDD / BDD. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
