Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Full-Time Position - AucklandWe are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join a dynamic team. This is a full-time permanent position requiring onsite presence 5 days a week in Auckland, with an ASAP start.About the RoleAs a Senior IT Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing diverse platform and operating system environments, including VMware, Kubernetes, Linux, and Windows Server and Client.Key responsibilities include:Supporting and addressing backlog items.Providing application support.Assisting engineering teams to leverage the latest technologies in designing, building, and managing innovative solutions.Offering expertise and advice to support IT systems through efficient platform management and successful project delivery.Leading efforts to upgrade, maintain, and enhance secure and reliable infrastructure.Overseeing project planning and deployment for platform initiatives aligned with Annual Operating Plan goals.Driving configuration management and implementing automation standards using tools like Ansible.Improving system reliability, availability, disaster recovery, and environmental consistency.Ensuring systems are fully compliant, automating build and deployment processes, and maintaining security.Providing detailed reports on system usage, uptime, and support levels while maintaining thorough documentation.Managing platform infrastructure costs efficiently.Key RequirementsTo excel in this role, you will need:Solid experience in Linux and Windows administration.Proficiency in scripting, automation, or Infrastructure as Code.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of security frameworks and technologies: ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, IPSEC, SSL VPNs, firewalls, etc.Familiarity with network (LAN/WAN) and security product support.Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.On OfferCompetitive salary.Opportunities for professional growth and development within a leading company.An innovative and dynamic work environment.How to ApplyTo apply for this position, click on 'Apply Now' to submit your resume.
