23rd October, 2024Are you a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering graduate with a passion for customer service and technical problem-solving? We're looking for a Customer Support Chemist in a temporary role with potential to transition into a long term position, with our client involved in the management of the hazardous waste industry.
Key Responsibilities: Use your chemical knowledge to act as the technical liaison between customers and the operations team.Enter information into the SCO Sales system to accurately track and maintain customer orders.Follow company guidelines to generate accurate quotes on disposal costs, based on customer requirements.Handle all customer-related administration, ensuring smooth communication and processes.Provide expert guidance to customers on the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.Strong computer skills including MS Office suite and ideally some exposure to CRM software.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.What We Offer: Full-time temporary position with potential for long term opportunities.Opportunity to work in a new and dynamic company based in Onehunga.Immediate start position with full training available to those with the right foundational skills.How to Apply:
