While this role is ideally Auckland based we welcome applications nationwide from suitably experienced HR Professionals.Mo te tunga | About the roleThrough driving your own caseload and working in collaboration with other People functions, you will provide a wide variety of technical HR advice and options to support the business in Change Management, Performance Management, Employment Relations and other employment matters. We are committed to growing the capability of our people through continuous learning, with a focus on coaching and taking a holistic approach to wellbeing, to enable us to successfully partner with the business as our organisation moves into the future.Key Accountabilities:Proactively works with Leaders and other relevant teams to successfully manage and resolve complex Employment Relationship challenges in an efficient and timely manner, leveraging key resources and stakeholders to shape and build advice.Uses HR generalist expertise to provide current and appropriate advice that assesses and mitigates risk across the entire employee lifecycle.Builds effective and strong relationships to proactively work with Leaders and their business groups to enable holistic and fit for purpose solutions, centred on the analysis of relevant information.Has the ability to respond in a timely manner to differing business needs and can be pragmatic with advice and support.Provides mentoring to Advisors by sharing skills, knowledge and expertise to enable their growth and development.Supports the ongoing improvement of processes and services, with a perspective of any potential broader impacts.Supports, and where required takes the lead (from a People Operations perspective), in organisational initiatives and projects, ensuring effective planning, coordination, monitoring, reporting and evaluation requirements are met.He aha taau e kawe mai | What you'll bringWhilst we are looking for skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role, we also place high importance on your state of mind, the alignment of your values with ours, your ability to contribute to and build high performing teams, and the way that you lead yourself or others.The preferred candidate will:Have demonstrable experience working at a Senior HR Practitioner level.Ideally hold a relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant contemporary work experience.Whakaritenga motuhake | Special requirementsTo apply for this role, you must:Be a NZ citizen or permanent resident.Ideally be based in the greater Tamaki Makaurau area but we are open to applicants based beyond this.This role is set at Team Leader/Manager level, this means your key purpose is "to lead the activities for Our Business and enable people to deliver them.
