About the role
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-starting, and motivated HR professional to join our team on a fixed-term basis while one of our team members is on parental leave until March 2025. This role offers part-time hours (20 hours per week) that can be tailored to suit your lifestyle. You also have the option to be based in either our Auckland or Wellington locations.
As a Senior HR Advisor (or an HR Advisor ready to take the next step), you will be a key partner to our wider business, supporting both employees and managers to ensure our workplace runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with our managers, and your contributions will be vital in building and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing employee relations, implementing HR policies and procedures, and contributing to various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving our organisational effectiveness.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
We're looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills and a solid grasp of HR best practices, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A qualification in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, but a great attitude and experience are equally valuable.
To excel in this role, you'll also need top-notch communication and interpersonal skills, along with a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and HR best practices.
