Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) The role: We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-starting, and motivated HR professional to join our team. This role offers part-time hours (20 hours per week) that can be tailored to suit your lifestyle. As a Senior HR Advisor (or an HR advisor ready to take the next step), you will be supporting both employees and managers to ensure our workplace runs smoothly and efficiently. As part of our leadership team your contributions will be vital in building and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. You will also have the opportunity to develop HR initiatives aimed at improving our organisational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Onboarding: End-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening resumes, interviewing, reference checks, and a seamless onboarding process for new hires. Employee Relations: Managing employee relations issues, including staff performance, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Support and advice: Providing expert advice and support to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with current labour laws and company policies. Review, develop and implement HR policies: Reviewing, developing and implementing HR policies. Employee Development: Planning and implementing employee Performance Development Plans. Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Record-Keeping: Monitor and maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave, performance review, training, certification and disciplinary records. Report: Prepare and present monthly HR reports. About you We're looking for someone who is organised with excellent problem-solving skills and a solid grasp of HR best practices, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A qualification in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, but a great attitude and experience are equally valuable. To excel in this role, you'll also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and HR best practices. What's in it for you?
