Job Description
ENGEO is looking for an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Queenstown office.
About this role:
This position will involve project management and technical design of a wide range of geotechnical project types such as:

Slope stability
Large scale residential and commercial foundations and retaining walls
Liquefaction analyses
Geohazard assessment and mitigation

Your work will encompass geotechnical site characterisation, data analysis, modelling and interpretation, design and construction monitoring. Our local clients cover a broad range of markets including buildings, infrastructure, tourism and land development. Experience and Skills
About you:
Our ideal candidate is someone who is hungry, humble and smart and;

Has a BE (Civil), ME (Geotechnical).
Has at least 12 years of geotechnical consulting experience (ideally most of which is in New Zealand);
Has gained, or has applied for, CMEngNZ (CPEng).
Has excellent project management and report writing skills;
Is passionate about ground engineering - in all its forms!
Shows a positive 'can do' attitude;
Wants to grow their career, make a difference in the community and create an impact;
Understands and fosters client relationships and business development;
Will check your ego in at the door and work alongside a dynamic team.
Finds innovative and pragmatic ways to deliver excellent outcomes to your Clients;
Works well in team environments;
Has an eye for detail; and
Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
