Job Description Pullman Auckland is looking for a talented and passionate Senior Front Office Team Leader wishing to expand their knowledge in a luxury hotel environment. You will enjoy looking after our guests and working as part of a fun, talented & passionate team that is all about creating memorable experiences.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Assisting with leading the Front Office team to ensure Pullman Service Standards are displayed at all times.Coaching the team to ensure that every member is confident in providing valuable insider information about tourist attractions and restaurants to hotel guests.Establishing ongoing On the Job Training within the department to meet brand and service essentials, using department procedure manuals as a base for all service procedures and training.Assisting in recruitment activities, seeking staff who are passionate and have a natural inclination towards customer-focused service.Driving up-sells as part of Hotel revenue management culture.Ensuring Accor Hotels' guest loyalty and recognition program is maintained and delivered to its highest standards.Motivating and empowering team members to problem-solve and surprise our guests with novelty.Qualifications Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, you also have:
Previous Front Office experience is essential, as well as a proven track record of managing and motivating a team.Knowledge of Opera is advantageous.Exposure in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment.Ability to remain calm and diplomatic when under pressure, providing flexible solutions throughout.Strong ability to work collaboratively with various departments.Be a skilled negotiator to resolve a range of guest and employee concerns.Immaculate personal presentation and high level of communication – both verbal & written.Leadership capability.Additional Information This is a Full Time Position, 40 hours per week, $29.66 per hour plus incredible Global Benefits.
