Their Auckland office is located close to Auckland Airport with the business operating flexible working options.About the RoleThis role is essential in managing the company's group reporting processes. This includes all monthly accounting processes for Group Support Services, managing the Group forecasting, intercompany and cost recharge processes, cash management, and supporting the interim and year end financial reporting.This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic finance team, offering career growth and development opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the monthly accounting of the Group Shared Service cost centre in New Zealand and Australia, including balance sheet reconciliations, month end accruals and reporting.Manage and prepare the monthly intercompany recharge and group intercompany reconciliation process across business units.Responsible for coordinating the quarterly group forecasting process including updating the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow models for business units.Responsible for day to day banking transactions.Support the preparation of group interim/annual financial statements.Support the preparation of reporting packs and supporting working papers for the preparation of financial statements.So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?This is a great role for someone with a Big 4 background who is looking to move into a commercial role for the first time. It could also fit someone with a CA firm background (Audit or BAS) who already has a few years' commercial experience under their belt.It is essential that you are CA/CPA qualified for this role, you will have 3-5 years experience and you will need to have strong IFRS knowledge. Any exposure to group reporting, whether that be direct commercial experience or working on audits for group entities would be a real advantage.You will have strong analytical skills, have excellent communication skills and will be proficient with Microsoft Excel.You will be joining a forward-thinking company where you can make a real impact and develop your career surrounded by impressive individuals.Studies have shown that women and people from under-represented backgrounds are less likely to apply for roles where they don't match the job description criteria exactly.
