Senior Financial Accountant

Role Purpose:The Senior Accountant will drive business improvements by implementing strategic projects, optimizing processes, and providing robust financial analysis and reporting. The role also includes managing financial compliance, tax obligations, audits, and risk mitigation, supporting the overall governance and decision-making within the organization.Key Responsibilities:Lead business improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and implement new financial systems.Oversee financial reporting and compliance for NZ and Australia, including preparation of financial statements and audits.Conduct financial analysis, prepare models (ROI, DCF), and support due diligence for key projects.Manage approvals for purchase orders, capital expenditure, and banking transactions.Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure smooth completion of external audits and mitigate financial risks.Experience:Experienced accountant with strong financial analysis skills.Project management experience.Solid understanding of compliance and audit processes.Strong communication and collaboration skills essential.CA Qualified.NZX listed experience (preferable).Strong communication & business partnering skills.This is an excellent newly created role to join a market leading listed organization that is looking to expand through more M&A.If you think you have the skills then apply on the link below or contact Aaron Ryan @Alexander James- 0221713365.
