Senior Finance Manager

We are working with a FMCG company based in East Auckland who are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Financial Manager to join their team on an interim basis.The business is in an exciting phase of expansion, they pride themselves on their flexible working environment and structured approach, they are looking for someone who can deliver high-quality work and manage complex financial tasks effectively.Senior Finance Manager – Contractor AssignmentStarting ASAP until the end of November to bridge the gap for the permanent candidate to start.Hours: 40 hours per week with flexible arrangements.Flexibility - option to work from home 2-3 days a week – most of the teamwork from the office on Tuesday and WednesdayBased in East AucklandKey Responsibilities:NZ Tax Returns & Insurance Claims - Manage and oversee NZ tax returns and handle insurance claims, ensuring all processes are managed efficiently.Manage the interim audit, which is due in November, coordinating with new auditors, and ensuring all queries are addressed by the appropriate team members.Project Management - Oversee and manage internal financial projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to a high standard.What are they looking for?Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or similar, with at least 10 years of Financial Management experience.Experience in business partnering, especially within FMCG and Group consolidation environments, is ideal but not essential.Strong familiarity with NZ tax, though not necessarily specialised in tax.Advanced Excel skills are essential.
