As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide commercial finance support to Westpac NZ's Transformation Office. This role primarily exists to support senior management through the provision of financial insights and by driving action to achieve financial targets. The role will be responsible for providing advice and commercial challenge to the business and the management team. Key responsibilities include: Advise and support the GM, CFO and Head of Commercial Partners Advise and support the relevant leadership team to develop and deliver strategic plans and initiatives. Drive the execution of key strategic and financial initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment of objectives to achieve strategic plans. Support the CFO, Head of Commercial Partners through the provision of timely, accurate and insightful information and advice. Leadership of Finance Business Partners, direct reports and influence across Finance Leadership and management of analysts and graduates across the Finance team. Na tau rourou | What will you bring? Extensive experience finance partnering at the strategic and General Manager level. Strong knowledge of the banking industry and its products. Including management change spend and influencing drivers of the core business Proven ability to partner and influence leadership teams towards strategic and financial goals Confident and simple delivery of strategic and financial information to all levels of the organisation. Excellent communication skills appropriately applied across all modes, methods, and channels. Proven leadership of high performing teams with the ability to influence and develop people Strong accounting and finance ability across all finance functions.
