MidCentral is upgrading and expanding its infrastructure services, taking a 30-50 year view.
It is creating an Infrastructure Strategic Plan and Roadmap to guide investment and seeks a skilled Senior Facilities Engineer to support its implementation.
This role will help ensure that not only does the hospital's plant and infrastructure operate efficiently and effectively, it supports the work of clinical teams and the delivery of health and disability care.
This role is extremely varied and busy with huge opportunities to gain expertise and experience across a wide-ranging setting.
Key Success Factors: Critical thinking, quickly understanding a large and intricately linked organisation with the ability to co-ordinate multiple demands simultaneously and efficiently, whilst engaging across the operation will be key to your success.
Qualifications: Experience in health engineering is preferred but rounded engineering, construction, and maintenance experience is acceptable.
You will be adept at: Providing operational and strategic insight into the provision of significant infrastructure projects Providing advice and consultation for building/infrastructure planning and design of improvements and capital construction projects Managing all phases of project development of construction projects Monitoring compliance with engineering standards Liaising with multiple stakeholders and ensuring their needs are understood.
