Structural Engineer

The Company

With offices in multiple locations across Aotearoa, you'll play a significant role in the country's engineering landscape, contributing to both new and existing urban and rural developments.

The Role

This is suited to an experienced or aspiring Senior Structural Engineer to join their established team in Northland. You will work collaboratively with the wider engineering group to deliver structural design for architectural homes, high-profile commercial buildings, development of new building systems, and provide seismic assessment and address strengthening of new and existing multi-storey and heritage structures.

About You

As an ideal applicant, you'll have a Bachelor degree (or better) in Engineering or a related field, and a minimum of six years of working experience, preferably within New Zealand. You'll be confident in your ability to produce structural design and analysis, utilise 12D and related software and provide mentoring to juniors in your team. You'll be experienced in conducting site inspections and coordinating with contractors, clients and regulatory authorities, and competent in providing detailed and accurate reports across your various projects. Experience working in Northland or being a Chartered professional (CPEng) will be an added benefit.
