As Senior External Reporting Accountant, you will support the Senior Manager - External Reporting for all reporting and auditor engagement in respect of Heartland Group Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries.
You'll assist with the preparation of accurate, complete and compliant financial statements and annual reports in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
Central to the role is the production of the Group's external financial reports including statutory accounts for the Group.
You'll assist with the financial reporting process for subsidiaries, including preparation of financial statements and related board papers.

You're CA qualified and enjoy working in a buzzing environment which is growing and agile in the market.
Your attention to detail is second to none, you operate at pace and handle ambiguity with ease.
Keys to your success will include: Background in accounting and financial reporting Experience in the Banking industry or other regulated environment (ideally) Detailed knowledge and understanding of accounting standards (IFRS) Technical and analytical skills Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced working environment Minimum Requirements: Please note you must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
