We are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant | Kaiawhina Matua to join Te Tahu Hauora.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate that you have:
Proven secretarial experience including minute taking, agenda and paper preparation
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Exceptional time management and prioritisation abilities
Advanced diary management skills to support executive directors
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership
An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in the health and disability sector.
The ideal candidate would be able to start Monday 6 January 2025 or earlier by negotiation.
About the role
As the Senior Executive Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Provide efficient and effective administrative support to a number of executive leaders across the organisation
Provide secretarial support for the executive leadership team and other committees/advisory groups as needed
Provide administration and coordination support for the office based in Wellington

Te Tahu Hauora Health Quality and Safety Commission (Te Tahu Hauora) is a stand-alone Crown entity with a board responsible to the Minister of Health. Te Tahu Hauora is responsible for assisting providers, both private and public, across the whole health and disability sector to improve service safety and quality and therefore outcomes for all those who use these services in Aotearoa New Zealand.
