Senior Estimator

About the Role: As our Senior Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in securing and delivering complex civil engineering projects valued up to $30 million.
You'll be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a diverse range of projects including: 3 Waters infrastructure Ground stabilization Subdivisions Roading and highways Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for major civil projects Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions Identify project risks and opportunities Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Work closely with project managers and engineers to optimize project delivery Utilize estimating software to improve efficiency and accuracy Requirements: Minimum 10 years' experience in civil engineering estimation Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and estimating software Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and local market conditions Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines What's on Offer: Competitive salary package ($160k to $180k + vehicle + Kiwisaver + relocation assistance if required) Career development opportunities and training Chance to work on exciting, high-profile regional projects Supportive team environment To join this dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of Hawke's Bay's infrastructure, click on the Apply button now.
