What you'll doDesign, build and ship increments of our platform, Shuttlerock Cloud, to deliver impactful customer-facing value.Write testable code across a range of front and backend technologies, React/Typescript, and Golang.Deploy cloud-native applications on our Kubernetes cluster.Be a technical lead within your team, mentor junior developers on their journey and be a buddy for new hires.Ship working software regularly using our highly automated CI/CD pipelines and GitOps approach using Terraform and ArgoCD.Take the lead on our lightweight approach to high-level design for our microservice architecture.Work with an empowered and highly agile cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software and features of any size at pace and at scale.Collaborate with Designers and other Software Developers of all experience levels on a daily basis.Take an active interest in the business and let this knowledge help inform your day-to-day technical decisions.Work with your peers and technology management on improving the Shuttlerock technology base.Collaborate with the team to make sure the Developer Experience (DX) is second to none.Be trusted to get the job done the way that works for you and your team.Help to maintain a positive, collaborative, and friendly, yet honest and productive working environment and attitude.Keep an open and healthy mind.What you'll bringMinimum qualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.7 years of software development experience, or 5 years with an advanced degree.Experience in React, Typescript, GoLang.Experience in high-quality applications with one of the leading three cloud providers.Ability to communicate and write in English fluently and idiomatically.What might bring the extra edgeMaster's degree or further education or experience in engineering, computer science, information systems, mathematics or other technical related fields.A curious eye and an appreciation and interest for the intersection of design & technology.Deep experience developing high-performance, accessible and I18n standardised web applications, sites, and services.Practical experience with cloud-native/serverless technology.
