Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the team in Nelson, New Zealand. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for day-to-day repairs and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring all plant and equipment operate at optimum efficiency. This role requires both independent work and collaboration with contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily repairs and planned preventative maintenance.
Supervise and collaborate with contractors as needed.
Ensure all plant and equipment run at optimum efficiency.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a motivated and self-driven engineer with at least 5 years of experience preferably in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
Mechanical Trade Qualification / Certificate (Fitter and Turner Qualification).
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing maintenance.
Expertise in the repair and maintenance of automated processing and packaging equipment.
A proactive attitude toward plant maintenance.
The ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
An unwavering commitment to health and safety, fostering a culture of absolute well-being.
