The Role:
We are dedicated to crafting compelling narratives and delivering high-quality content that engages and informs our audience. We're looking for a talented Senior Editor / Content Writer to join our dynamic team and elevate our content strategy to new heights.
Role Overview: As a Senior Editor / Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and overseeing a diverse range of content. Your expertise in language and storytelling will be vital in ensuring that our materials are not only clear and engaging but also aligned with our brand voice and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Write and edit high-quality articles, blogs, marketing materials, and other content across various platforms.
Editorial Oversight: Manage the content production process, including brainstorming topics, guiding writers, and ensuring all content meets quality standards.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals and audience needs and keep website content up to date.
Research & Fact-Checking: Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth in all content, verifying facts and sourcing credible information.
Feedback & Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to writers, fostering their growth and ensuring continuous improvement in content quality.
Brand Voice: Maintain and enhance our brand voice, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep our content relevant and competitive.
Assist with curriculum development as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in content writing and editing, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
