Senior Diversity, Equity and Inclusion AdvisorWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D,E&I) Advisor to join Group Shared Services growing D,E&I & Reward team.

Reporting to the Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Reward, you will support the Principal Advisor and Head of to deliver critical programmes of work while independently working on some additional projects.
You are passionate about driving meaningful change in the D,E&I space at Auckland Council and the CCOs – what you do will drive a sense of belonging across the entire organisation.
Key responsibilities will include: Research and Strategy: Conduct research on D,E&I matters and recommend new or enhanced strategies.Collaboration: Work with other teams to achieve key D,E&I objectives.Data Analysis: Analyse D,E&I data from surveys, workshops, and external consultants to develop internal strategies.External Engagement: Develop relationships with other organisations to stay updated on the latest initiatives.Reward and Recognition: Collaborate with the wider team to deliver reward and recognition initiatives and support department projects.Staff Network Support: Assist staff networks with key deliverables.He korero mou: About you

You will have 7+ years' previous experience working in the D,E&I space and have a sound understanding and knowledge of diversity and inclusion issues as well as experience working with different communities and demographic groups.
Building relationships both internally and externally will be at the heart of what you do as you will be a part of bringing D,E&I to the forefront of the business.
A high level of customer service, attention to detail, written and oral communication skills are essential in this role.

Experience in the use of Business Intelligence and HRIS systems will also be a must.
