The team ensures that our lending portfolios are managed within the bank's risk appetite, whilst supporting the business in the transformation and optimisation of process/systems & delivery to growth objectives.About the Role:Our Projects Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be part of a high-performing team who are embedded within ASB's key strategic projects, supporting the transformation of the bank's lending experiences and championing good credit outcomes for both the bank and our customers. This will include:Using data and analytics to monitor, support and continually optimise credit risk strategy and implementation for retail banking initiatives and projects.Building relationships within cross-functional squads and retail lending product owners to help understand their needs and meet their business requirements.Working as a key member of an effective, high-performing team delivering value to the organisation.Working through ambiguity to enable projects to progress at pace.At the heart of this role, you will be supporting the business with their strategic goals, building capability across the business, and ensuring credit risk is managed according to the requirements of ASB.About you:We are looking for someone who can deliver accurate and insightful data to help answer questions and solve problems using lending data, primarily for credit risk and its stakeholders (Tribes, Squad members, or Product management). Apart from this, you will have:Strong analytical skills (stating the problem; effective and accurate analysis; presentation of results and recommendations).Strong presentation skills, ensuring analysis and recommendations are clearly articulated.Understanding of banking, originations processes, and the retail lending market (home loans, credit cards, personal loans).Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation (written & verbal).Proficient in SAS or SQL; Tableau or PowerBI.Working for ASB:In return, you will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people, where the sky is the limit for development and career opportunities.
