The Client:
My client is a high-profile commercially focused manufacturing organisation who have increased capacity in the last two years, and they plan to continue this growth. They are highly successful, recession proof and now is the time for you to join this organisation reporting to one of the best CFO's in town!
About the Role:
Report to the Chief Financial Officer with the primary focus of Business Partnering across the teams who are responsible for operating performance and productivity. You will manage a team of three and provide financial analysis, insights, and support to understand the drivers of cost and performance, through the provision of the platforms, systems, commercial decision-making processes and dashboards.
Main responsibilities:
Complete all financial and management monthly and annual reports.
Manage the Annual Planning Cycle (APC) including Annual Budget process, rolling forecasts and long-term plans
Oversight of the cost accounting and inventory valuation processes and systems
Drive better insights, business improvement and enhanced performance through the use of analytics and design and implementation of planning and business intelligence platforms and practices.
About You:
You will be an engaging and professional individual with a strategic commercial approach to your work but also prepared to be hands on, and in the trenches with your team when required. This is not a desk bound role!
You must have the following skills/experience:
Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA/CIMA)
Significant New Zealand experience at a senior level in financial and management accounting within a manufacturing environment
In depth understanding of budgeting, forecasting and standard costing.
Proficient with financial modelling and Advanced Excel
Lead and managed a commercial finance team.
A commercially savvy individual who can work at pace and push back when required.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
