As a full-service law firm, we occupy a unique position in the legal market, delivering quality legal advice and exceptional value to our clients who include leading private and public sector organisations and high net worth individuals.
We are now looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to hit the ground running in this lead role.
Our Finance team plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the business, providing accounting, financial and credit control support across all five of our offices, as well as managing the firm's trust account.
As a Senior Credit Controller, you will manage credit control processes, ensuring accurate and timely support is provided across the business, and will liaise with internal and external clients to ensure the firm's credit control goals are achieved. You will also oversee the day-to-day activities of a Credit Controller, as well as managing a range of other administration and processing tasks, supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

You will also have an interest in building your leadership skills and will enjoy mentoring and sharing your knowledge, as this opportunity will see you working closely day to day with a Credit Controller, who will report into you.
Key requirements for this role:
Previous experience in a credit control position, or similar
Familiarity with credit control processes and relevant legislation
Hands-on and proactive working approach, with the ability to take initiative
Team-centric mindset - collaborative and collegial approach
Effective problem solving and solution-focused
Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders (including internal business managers and external clients)
Leadership skills, with a genuine interest in supporting and fostering a high performing team

Ideally, this role would be located with our Finance team in Christchurch; however, there is also an opportunity for this role to be Wellington or Auckland based, by negotiation.
