This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our business growth, credit portfolio management, credit processes, and overall credit asset performance. The Senior Credit Analyst will collaborate closely with Credit Managers, perform financial analysis, and play a pivotal role in maintaining robust credit standards.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Management: Collaborate with Credit Managers to proactively manage the credit portfolio, ensuring adherence to required standards. Oversee and streamline credit processes, encompassing comprehensive credit analysis, assist in loan drawdown and ongoing customer management.Financial Expertise: Leverage advanced financial modeling skills to assess credit applications, term sheets, and covenant controls.Sector Insights: Conduct ongoing monitoring of portfolio sector performance and provide insightful market research summaries. Promptly identify early warning signals and deteriorating trends, contributing to informed decision-making.Transactional Banking: Assist Credit Managers in resolving daily credit queries and facilitate the credit decisioning process.Analytical Reporting: Prepare a variety of reports required by the bank, offering clear insights that inform strategic initiatives.Adaptability and Initiative: Demonstrate flexibility by embracing tasks assigned by the department and the bank, reflecting your commitment to the organization's success.Adhere to the bank's policies and procedures at all times.Other tasks assigned by the department or the bank.Qualifications and Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.Experience: Extensive experience in corporate and institutional level banking analysis within local banks is preferred.Analytical Aptitude: Strong analytical skills coupled with effective communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and presentation capabilities.Market Acumen: Solid understanding of local and China markets is advantageous.Proficiency: Proficiency in both written and verbal English.Eligibility: Must have eligibility to work in New Zealand.Due to the volume of applications, please kindly note that only selected candidates will be contacted.
