As a result our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend Australia is opening up opportunities for New Zealanders who are looking to relocate and work in Australia.If you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager with Structural, Architectural, MEP, Civil experience looking for a change, feel free to apply the role, we are looking for various levels of candidates across Australia.Responsibilities:Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externallyResponsible for pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reportsEstimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost planTendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documentsTaking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes placeProducing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientInterfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stageQualificationsA recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction ManagementMRICS / AIQS accreditation idealRelevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environmentProficient in the use of CostX advantageousAbility to demonstrate attention to detailTeam player with the ability to work autonomouslyExcellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skillsHighly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
