We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Corporate Planner to join our Strategy, Planning and Policy Team.
This is your chance to drive our corporate planning processes, including the Long-Term Plan, Annual Plan, and Annual Report, while collaborating with diverse teams within Upper Hutt City Council and our stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful results.
What you'll do:Lead the development and delivery of our corporate planning work programme as a subject matter expert.Ensure the successful development and implementation of key projects are on time and within budget.Collaborate across all levels of the organisation, engaging with stakeholders to bring strategies to life.Take a 'change and improve' approach to all corporate planning projects, ensuring quality and compliance.What you'll bring:Experience in Local Government consultation and engagement, and familiar with corporate planning processes, functions and legislation.A proven track record in managing and delivering complex project plans, proposals, technical documentation and reports.Exceptional relationship management and communication skills including being comfortable presenting in council and community settings.A proactive desire to take ownership, lead with initiative and make the role what you want it to be.Working with us is a rewarding way to support the community and make tangible impacts.
