Office Management (Administration & Office Support)Full timeHerriot Melhuish O'Neill Architects (HMOA) works across a range of commercial and residential projects throughout New Zealand and has studios in Wellington, Christchurch, and Auckland.You'll provide administrative, financial, and human resources support to the directors and their teams across all three studios, with a particular focus on the Wellington studio where you'll be based.You'll be calm under pressure and happy to chip in and lend a hand with a range of tasks.Skills and Experience Sought:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (i.e., Word, Excel)Proficiency with XeroProficiency with Abtrac Management software and InDesign preferred but not essentialAn interest in design and architectureKey Responsibilities:Being the face and voice of HMOA: meeting and greeting clients, consultants, and suppliers; answering the phone; responding to initial email enquiries from potential clients and suppliersManaging accounts, payroll (Xero), and setting up paymentsReconciling bank statement/credit card expensesManaging accounts payable/receivables and GST returnsResponding to requests from directors across all studios, including reports, HR support, cash flow forecasts, and workflow programmingProviding administrative support for the team as requiredYou'll be working in a light-filled, inner-city Wellington studio with an informal work environment, plenty of coffee, music, and supportive colleagues.
