Don't read any further if you have an ego – you won't fit in!   Some more about the role You will be responsible for evaluating and leading the internal strategic business planning, evaluating M&A opportunities on both buy and sell side as well project finance managing major capital projects. Your regular workflow will include long term financial modelling, valuations, due diligence, deal structuring and execution as well as preparing board papers/presentations along with pitch and pricing documentation/decks. You will work extremely closely with an experienced and highly capable senior leadership team and will have regular catch ups with the CEO and CEO. The company has a diverse portfolio of investments and Is constantly looking to buy and sell parts of its current portfolio as well as looking to expand further across current and new business ventures throughout Australasia so there are typically a number of live and interesting projects underway at any point.   So, who are you? You are commercially savvy with a high level of integrity and commitment. You will have come from a corporate finance, investment banking or private equity background and will be looking to transition into a highly sought after corporate role. You will need a decent level of experience to be able to run projects with a high degree of autonomy and you will need strong communication and soft skills to bring people together to deliver key projects. A CFA qualification would be a bonus but is not essential.   It goes without saying that you will be highly adept across the corporate finance function and be capable of complex/advanced valuations, financial modelling, due diligence, deal structuring presenting to and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders and managing busy and complex projects.
