The Company Our client is leading Building Automation Specialist with a nationwide presence, looking to expand their automation solutions for commercial, laboratories and government buildings. With a strong pipeline of complex builds, they continue to grow business and remain an industry leader.
The Role As a Senior Controls Engineer you will be responsible for designing, programming and commissioning building automation systems based on client specifications.
With their national footprint, this opportunity can be based in Dunedin, Christchurch, and Wellington. Bringing a strong controls background you will provide as-built technical specifications and automation proposals for HVAC, lighting, controls and energy management systems. With a customer focus you will be involved from initial control drawings to ongoing system support and technical troubleshooting.
About you You will be an experienced Controls Engineer and have:
At least 3 years' experience in project based work specific to BMS Automation Exposure to a range of building automation control systems, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, and lighting. Confidence to interact with clients and best understand their needs to provide effective solutions. Experience commissioning systems on site. A will to learn and contribute to a diverse team. The Opportunity Working for an employer with a strong reputation in the industry you will involve in complex projects for high profile commercial builds.
