There is strong political commitment to supporting our regions, and to investing in and improving New Zealand's regional infrastructure. The establishment of the $1.2 billion Regional Infrastructure Fund delivers on the Government's promise to address the regional infrastructure deficit. It will help boost the New Zealand economy, increase regional prosperity, and create jobs.This is largely an external communications role which includes supporting Ministerial and project announcements, media responses, and risk and issues management. You will work closely with regionally based operational teams and wellington-based policy and reporting teams. Experience working with operational teams and Minister's' offices would be hugely beneficial.
