The role We're have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Commercial Underwriter with an interest in systems to join our Digital Commercial team.
You'll be responsible for growing Ando's business through a chosen technology solution, while acting as a system expert.
You'll work in conjunction with our Digital Platform Underwriting Manager to identify opportunities for improvement, problem solving and synergies in Ando.
You'll also provide support and share industry knowledge and experience to the wider Digital Commercial team.
You will have experience with analytical tools and statistical packages - Smart systems.

Responsibilities Provide coaching and technical support to the Digital Commercial Underwriting team.
Review and evaluate digital customer applications.
Ensure all risks are underwritten and accepted within Ando's authorised limits.
Liaise and negotiate with brokers to identify client requirements and underwriting quotes in tight turnaround time frames.
Acts as system coordinator and go-to contact person for Commercial API issues and system enhancements.
Engages with our Delivery team to facilitate solution focused responses to the roll out of projects, strategy and enhancements.
Qualifications and experience Ideally 5 years' experience relating to partner engagement and underwriting at a senior level.
A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service for end customers and brokers.
Qualifications preferred include an insurance diploma or certificate or BCom in Finance or related fields.
Knowledge and/or experience of B2B systems is preferred.
Interest or experience in the 'behind the scenes' of digital platforms.
