The Role This newly created position has come from Fullers360 experiencing a consistent incline in growth through not only securing their contract with Auckland Transport as the leading ferry transporter for Hauraki Gulf – but in addition to this, continuing to develop their tourist product lines from Waiheke to Rangitoto.
Role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Responsible for providing 'big picture thinking', analysis and financial insights into business planning, commercial growth, product and business developments.
Challenge thinking and offer advice, helping make more informed decisions and assisting the development of business strategy.
Develop and deliver tools, methods, scenarios and recommendations for Fare Price changes, new products & competition insights considering yield and demand-based management.
Working with business leaders to prepare the annual financial plans, providing sufficient challenge to ensure the plan/forecast Key Performance Indicators are challenging yet realistic and achievable.
Support the CFO, CEO and Board with core projects in relation to new strategic directions and opportunities for the Group such as tenders and commercial opportunities.
To ensure your success in this role, you will have: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Economics or a related subject with between 5-10 years' of relevant working experience, from a similar corporate or a management consultancy firm, ideally from Strategy/Transactions.
You may have a CA/CFA/CIMA qualification but this is not a prerequisite.
Must have experience as a business partner for revenue generating and/or commercial units whilst being able to deliver strategic analysis and recommendations to company Leadership and Executive.
You will have 'big picture thinking' as well as experience in producing detail-orientated models to test or develop business or new product outcomes.
With excellent communication and presentation skills, you will be confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels, able to work autonomously, a fast learner and collaborative.
This role is a rare opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their corporate development experience in a progressive firm, within a constantly evolving industry.
The ideal candidate will have already gained the commercial acumen and analytical mindset from a large similar NZ corporate management or consultancy / advisory firm.
