We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Coder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in accurately coding medical records using ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS classifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in clinical coding to contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our health information management. MidCentral's clinical notes are fully digitised therefore we will consider remote coders for this role.
Key Responsibilities: Accurately code clinical data using ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS classifications.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and procedures.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and guidelines.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Contribute to the continuous improvement of coding processes and practices.Qualifications: HIMAA (Health Information Management Association of Australia) coding qualification is highly desirable.Proficiency in ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS coding.Previous experience in a clinical coding role within a large healthcare setting.Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security.What We Offer: Supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care and outcomes.How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to apply and submit their resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience.
