Growing firm have great opportunity for a Civil Engineer to work on complex projects in Queenstown.Civil Engineer, Queenstown $90,000 - $120,000 + other company perksThe CompanyMy client is a growing multi-office civil engineering, land development and surveying consultancy. They work on significant and complex projects, as such they are looking to hire senior staff for their Queenstown team. They cover all aspects of land development from feasibility studies right through to monitoring of construction and compliance. They design and deliver innovative and sustainable developments for a better New Zealand, building new communities where people love to live, and provide best practice solutions for complex infrastructure projects.The RoleYou will have responsibility for client projects and client management, you will provide leadership and technical skills to aid with day-to-day operational requirements of the engineering department.This will include the preparation of engineering design plans and liaising with Council to obtain design approvals as well as preparing documents for tenders.You will be required to project manage various engineering projects and assist with quoting civil works.As a civil engineer you will be providing technical input to projects during resource consent, through concept design to detailed design.You will be involved with procurement, contract administration and construction monitoring including client and contractor interaction.About YouHold an Engineering Degree and/or relevant qualifications such as a Washington Accord Degree.Be working towards or be a Chartered Professional Engineer.Have 3-7 years' experience in civil engineering / land development in New Zealand.Understand civil construction machinery and construction methods.Hold the technical skills to undertake engineering design and calculations and interpret test results for engineering materials.Be highly competent with the use of 12D or Civil 3D engineering software and design packages.Strong team player and willing to contribute to the professional development of team members.A high level of technical competence in infrastructure work and able to manage multiple projects.The BenefitsCompetitive remuneration.An employee wellness and benefits package.Excellent career advancement opportunities for the right person.Flexible working, career advancement opportunities.Relocation assistance if applicable.Work on major infrastructure projects and be part of a dynamic and highly engaged team.To apply for this position or have a confidential chat about the role please contact Jordan Manfield of Remedy Resourcing on 027 561 3200 or email ****** for further information.
