We are looking for experienced, ambitious, and driven Senior or Advanced Intermediate Civil Engineers with a strong background in hydrology, design, and working knowledge of site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects. What will you do? This role will give you a rare opportunity to 'make your mark' in furthering our service in Queenstown, Otago, and Southland, in addition to active involvement with our growing Canterbury business. Reporting to our Business Regional Manager (South Island), this role is based in Queenstown and would suit someone who can work independently but in close cooperation with our team of engineers and surveyors. You will be an excellent communicator in both written and verbal forms and be a proactive team member. Responsibilities include: Management of a range of public and private sector projects. Liaison and relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholders including staff, clients, contractors, specialists, and council staff. Who are you? You will have a suitable qualification in engineering. 5+ years' experience, ideally in Christchurch or Queenstown. Land development experience. Design experience, preferably with 12D or Civil3D. Stormwater-focused engineer with experience in HEC-HMS and/or HEC-RAS is highly desirable. Practical 'on site' experience. Working experience with local Council standards and codes of practice. Solid independent technical report writing skills.
