This is an exciting contract role in the Energy Sector till end of March in the Wellington CBD. It is flexi working. We are hiring for a Senior Java Developer who has worked in C++. This would suit someone who has done C++ component integration with Java Apps.
What you'll do: Integrate the C++ components with Java applications using JNI.Debug and optimise existing code to enhance performance and reliability.Design and build high-quality software that adheres to established development standards.Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure seamless integration with the SCADA systems.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time.Document technical specifications, code changes, and project updates clearly and concisely.What you bring: Strong proficiency in C/C++.Experience in integrating C++ components with Java applications using JNI.Experience in building and managing build pipelines.Knowledge of Git is mandatory.Familiarity with logging tools such as Elastic Search, Logstash, Grafana/Kibana is an asset.Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.What sets this company apart: This organisation offers an inclusive work environment where collaboration and shared success are valued.
