This is an important role that will lead the delivery of agreed data and business requirements that will strengthen data infrastructure and governance processes which form part of the Data programme! The role will also be supporting the Head of data assets as well as the Head of data engineering with day-to-day requests to analyse data elements and control gaps, as well as identifying the risk (and sometimes causes) of data loss and to take immediate appropriate action to minimise.

What are some day-to-day tasks the person in this turanga will complete?
Lead, plan and deliver end-to-end business analyst support to key projects that form part of the Data programme within the Digital, Data & Analytics division.
Develop comprehensive documentation and delivery plans for each project that includes discovery, meetings & outcomes, business requirements, dependencies, identified risks and mitigations, and user guides.
Lead, plan and deliver stakeholder engagement across functional stakeholders to interpret business and data requirements, then analyse, validate and deliver solutions.
Provide coaching and mentoring to other Business Analysts within the division.
What attributes will this person display to be successful in this turanga?
We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, facilitator & negotiator with strong influencing skills. You will also have:
5+ years of Financial Services (or equivalent) experience in relevant business analysis or project environments.
Experience in data environments.
Experience in gathering complex technical and business requirements, then prioritising or validating to agree scope.
