* Play a critical role in shaping a new integrated intelligence-led approach to the safety camera system * Autonomy & responsibility with a supportive and collaborative team * Fixed term until end of June 2025 This is an exciting opportunity to join a team building the people and technology capabilities to operate a best practice safety camera system across our roading network. Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityAs Senior Business Analyst you will be working in the Safety Camera domain focusing on implementing the solution that will enable NZTA to operate a dynamic infringement management system (DIMS). You will be required to develop the enduring processes to run a dynamic infringement management system that enables the organisation to manage incident volumes to efficiency and effectiveness targets. Responsibilities will include: * Documenting the roles and responsibilities of who will carry out the different activities that enable the processes, * Developing and implementing new business processes that support the operations of the system, * Providing documentation of the new technology solutions implemented to support the dynamic management of infringements, * Working with the technical writers to develop the standard operating procedures and user guides required to support the business community to carry out the new or updated operations, * Working with key business and programme stakeholders to embed new or changes to existing processes. Ko koe tēnei | About you We're looking for someone who is a self-starter and comfortable working with minimal supervision, and will bring: * Significant and proven experience in Business Analysis with advanced analytical skills and ability to evaluate and resolve highly complex issues. * Strong experience of analysing existing business processes and identifying areas of change and / or improvement, * Experience in creating and implementing new processes aligning with new or existing operational policy and / or legislative requirements. * Ability to translate complex business and customer needs into audience appropriate language. * Excellent communication skills with a customer focus mindset. * Strong experience building and maintaining relationships in a complex business and technology environment. * Knowledge and experience in design thinking and co-design methodologies. * Experience operating in an Agile environment and hybrid ways of working. You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. Ensure - effective compliance monitoring and management processes of regulated parties to enable system access for people, devices, and networks, by risk targeted and cost-effective regulatory management of the land transport system.The role of the Regulatory Strategic Programmes team (the Team) is to establish and drive the delivery of strategic and operational improvements programmes that sit within the regulatory portfolio and provide strategic direction and leadership for Waka Kotahi in the delivery of agreed initiatives. The team will directly lead the programme and project delivery teams and be responsible for their overall delivery. These initiatives are expected to deliver a step change in achieving a safe, effective and efficient land transport regulatory system in the public interest. Keen to apply?
