Senior Broker Support

Details of the offer

Looking for your next step in the insurance industry? Our client is a Wellington-based broking seeking an experienced Broker Support to work alongside a highly experienced Senior commercial Broker on some of the most challenging risks in Wellington. With a culture built on work-life balance, this role offers a workplace where you can grow, learn, and contribute to shared success. About the company: National brokerage with offices up and down NZ, and head officed in Wellington. Team of 20 with a very inclusive and collaborative feel, and a strong focus on non-corporate culture. Very flat structure with a bottom-up approach to decision making. The Role: As Senior Broker Support, you will work directly with a Senior Commercial Broker, to help manage his growing portfolio of mid-market clients. You'll play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly—organizing complex renewals, liaising with clients and insurers, and keeping things on track. If you're a skilled multitasker with experience in a broker support role, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Supporting one of our busiest directors with a portfolio of challenging Wellington based clients. Client and insurer contact, ensuring a smooth and efficient service. Multitasking across various accounts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Why Join Us? Collaborative Culture: Our client believes in teamwork and support. Everyone chips in when it's busy —you'll focus on quality, not just numbers. Work-Life Balance: 5 weeks annual leave for all staff, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week after you've settled into the role. Career Progression: Plenty of opportunities for growth—whether that's moving into account management, managing your own book, or becoming a broker in the future. Training & Development: Access to IBANZ and CPD points, along with regular claims sessions and weekly knowledge sessions + ongoing team support. What We're Looking For: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a broker support. Level 5 qualification. Someone who can thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment with lots of client interaction. A great sense of humor and the ability to take things seriously when needed—but not too seriously! Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary depending on experience. Flexible working - up to 2 days WFH. Focus on Work Life Balance & Lifestyle. Annual staff conference. 5 Weeks annual leave. Insurance discount. Car parking on site, plus a newly renovated workspace. If you're ready for a new challenge with a business that truly values work-life-balance, apply today and let's chat about how you can become part of our team.
