We're looking for a skilled and passionate Senior civil structure/Bridge Engineer to join our expanding team in Christchurch, Dunedin, or Nelson. In this role you will work in our civil structure team within one of New Zealand's most reputable civil structural engineering firms designing and strengthening road bridges, rail bridges, pedestrian bridges, marine structures, and other heavy civil structures across New Zealand.
Your Role Will See You
Provide technical design advice for structural, civil, bridging, and multi-disciplinary projects.
Have an awareness of work planning and financial management.
Participate in, or lead, design teams.
Build strong internal and external relationships.
Support the preparation of winning bids.
Be passionate about learning.
Be actively involved in the success of the team.
Be motivated to seek innovative solutions and tread lightly on the planet.

Successful Candidates Will Possess
Strong communicator: Thrives in a team environment and collaborates effectively across the organisation.
Proven bridge design expert: Extensive experience in bridges & civil structures, with a history of leading teams to deliver exceptional client results.
Innovative & resourceful designer: Motivated to improve project delivery through creative solutions and forward-thinking approaches.
Client-focused & business-minded: Collaborates with clients, builds external networks, and demonstrates strong business acumen.
Experience/Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in relevant engineering discipline.
Expertise in the application of principles and practices within the engineering discipline.
Experience in a consulting environment.
Professional body certification/registration.
