Our team is growing, and we have a newly created role for an experienced Senior Bid Writer to support our Higgins and Major Projects teams to lead comprehensive submissions.
As a Senior Bid Writer, you will play a pivotal role in securing Capital Works contracts by leading the bid writing process from start to finish. This position requires exceptional writing and editing skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of bid management. You will collaborate closely with cross-function teams, manage multiple projects, and drive continuous improvement in our proposal content.

What you'll bring to the role:
An understanding and demonstrable application of capture planning / strategic / customer focused writing
Previous proven experience in business writing and/or bid writing in the civil engineering sector
Ability to write succinctly and persuasively for a business/engineering audience with creative flair
Proven ability in planning, producing and delivering compliant proposal documents
Understanding the basics of graphic design and ability to work collaboratively with a graphics designer
High standards of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to see the 'big picture' at the same time
Able to assign tasks to others and track delivery of those tasks so deadlines are met
Able to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines with strong time management/prioritisation skills
